Memorial Weekend in San Diego

Do you ever just get this overwhelming feeling that you need to see the beach? That you need to hear the waves and bury your toes in the sand? Well I do. I’ve been feeling some beach lust for a few weeks and decided to take a trip to San Diego for Memorial Weekend.

Add in some rain and some very soaked shoes, Justin and I still had a great time exploring. I’m by no means a San Fransisco expert, but after a few visits to this great city I’ve learned a thing or two.

A Redwood Dream

Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park is a place of wonder. The redwoods are incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring. A religious like reverence comes over you when you first see them. Justin and I visited my brother in Ashland, Oregon, this past fall and had the opportunity to explore Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
